 Russia and Afghanistan ratifies the Tokyo Convention on recognition

Russian Federation ratified the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, known as the Tokyo Convention, on January 1, 2021 and Afghanistan on February 1, 2021. As a result, there are now 11 State Parties to the Tokyo Convention. Russian Federation has also ratified the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region (known as the Lisbon Recognition Convention) in May 2000.
