Announcement of Changes to the List of Professional Training Colleges

National Information Center for Academic Recognition Japan (NIC-Japan) website provides a list of recognized higher education institutions in Japan. We would like to announce that the following changes are to be made to the items and the search function of the list regarding Professional Training Colleges.
- The list of "Programs (Post-Secondary Courses)" will no longer be provided.
- Information on whether an institution has "Professional Post-secondary Course(s)" will be indicated at the institution level, instead of the current indication for each Post-secondary course.
- Information on whether an institution has "course(s) designated by the Minister of MEXT regarding the eligibility for admission to graduate schools" (courses that make graduates eligible for admission to graduate school) will be added to individual institution pages.
- In the search function, you will be able to narrow down the Professional Training Colleges by the schools with "Professional Post-Secondary Course(s)" and/or "course(s) designated by the Minister of MEXT regarding the eligibility for admission to graduate schools" instead of the fields of study of Post-Secondary courses.
