Foreign Credential Evaluations (in general)
Q: Will a person who takes a 12-year course offered by a foreign country online while in Japan be recognized as having completed 12 years of school education in a foreign country and thus be eligible for admission to a university?
A: If the curriculum is offered at a foreign school, even if it is completed online in another country, it will be recognized as an educational curriculum offered in that foreign country. Therefore, if the person completes a 12-year course of school education in that foreign country, they will be considered eligible for admission to a university.
