Since its establishment in September 2019, the National Information Center for Academic Recognition Japan (NIC-Japan) has served as a NIC based on the Tokyo Convention and the Global Convention to provide information for the smooth recognition of higher education qualifications, to improve the international mobility of students and researchers.

As part of this effort, we have been holding the "NIC-Japan Seminar Series," in which experts from Japan and overseas discuss various topics related to the recognition of foreign qualifications, including examples of such qualifications and education systems.

We will hold a seminar on the South Korean education system and higher education qualifications on January 16, 2026.
